My wonderful husband and I decided that the new windows we have been wanting to install forever, that this is the year to do it. The deciding factor was the extreme cold weather that just blew though our area and caused all the windows to freeze (on the inside no less!) So, the window guy is coming over tonight to do some final measuring, pick up his check and to help us also, pick out a new front door and sidelights. Our threshold on the front stoop needs replacing and we decided that if we are going to do all this remodel, we may as well do it completely. One of the advantages of doing the window install is that the window sills on the outside of the house will be wrapped with vinyl so no more painting windows (inside and out!) Next year, the exterior siding.
