Last weekend, the husband painted our bedroom and I love it. It is a soft bluish greenish grayish color. I needed new pillowcases for our bedroom and could not find ones I liked. Hey, I sew; why not make my own. I did. Sometimes I forget that I can sew not just quilts. Funny how I get tunnel vision sometimes. Used to sew all my curtains, pillows, clothes, even upholstered chairs when it was necessary to pinch my budget tight. Now that I work full-time, quilt and teach, I've less time to do my own stuff and just ordering what I need seems to be the rule of the day. Anyway, the pillowcases were fun and quick to me and thought you'd like to see them. I made them with the tube method so that there are no unfinished seams.
Well, got to go watch "the game" with my great husband.
I am a Pastor's wife of 38 years; mother of two grown and married children, quilting for over 40 years, Longarm quilter for 14 years, domestic sewing machine collector (don't ask me how many sewing machines I have!) I love woodworking (building cabinets and bookcases), I like to read mysteries and watch "chick" flicks. I love all types of music except Blue Grass, but my favorites are Contemporary Christian and oldies-Rock'n Roll.
