RRCB Mystery Quilt Parts 6 and 7

Pieced Blocks and three pieces w/Triangles
Love, love this mystery quilt. Was keeping up until last Saturday, then got a little behind. I'm busily working on the parts 6 and 7. What a lot to do!  The pieced blocks are almost done and the triangles are on both ends of the pieced squares.  There is only one more step to reveal the completed quilt and that should include the pieced border.  I'm thinking that these three pieced squares with triangles are going into a zig- zag setting, maybe.

The strip pieced scrap blocks are sewn, paper removed, cut in half, trimmed to a true triangle and ready to sew into blocks.  I sewed the sample below and was not pleased with the fullness in the outside edges. So, I took the block apart, trimmed each triangle and resewed.  Much better now.  I think this will take the rest of the week to finish these steps. Can't wait until Friday to get the final piece of the puzzle.

Christmas was great with my family. Very restful and fun. We did get a beautiful Christmas. Our chuch service was cancelled so, we stayed a little longer with the kids, but it was good to get home on Sunday afternoon.
